The drive thru has gotten my order wrong twice, but the food is great when coleslaw is not on my bbq sandwich(I'm allergic to a presertative(spelling wrong im sure) of mayonaise so i didnt eat those sandwiches). Other that those 2 incidents, the food was wonderful and the people are so friendly, i imagined i was back at a family reunion in Pine Level, NC. the mecca of BBQ in my families eyes.
Pros: Great food and great prices.
Cons: I dont like the drive thru, getting my order wrong twice. I dont use the drive thru anymore. i walk in to get great food.

We moved to the Tidewater area from NC and of course missed our BBQ but new friends told us about this place and said it was better than anything they'd had in NC. They are now our best friends and this is our new favorite place to eat bbq. Great banana pudding too!
Pros: Don't have to go back home for real NC BBQ
Cons: Long haul from Suffolk but worth the trip....need one closer

I travel for a living and consider myself somewhat of a "professional" eater with a particular affinity for BBQ and homemade side dishes. I happened onto this place in Chesapeake several months ago and I can honestly say that they "fill the bill" in both categories........excellent bbq and real, scratch made sides and desserts. Everytime I'm there, they are either putting meat in the pit or just taking it out so I know it's fresh cooked on site. You can smell that hickory smoke for a mile in either direction The price is right too
Pros: Real food, fresh made, plenty of it
Cons: Haven't found one yet

These guys are the Real Q experts, just like down south eating. Great pig pickin style BBQ, ribs and fried chicken with great slaw and brunswick stew. Best banana pudding I ever had.
Pros: Best BBQ in Hampton Roads

BBQ & Ribs isn't just good BBQ - it's GREAT BBQ. Smoked slow and tender like it's supposed to be. All the trimmings, too - homestyle vegetables and desserts. Delicious sauce. If you're a BBQ lover, this is the place.
Pros: Tender slow smoked BBQ
Cons: So many good things to choose from, it's hard to decide

BBQ & Ribs has some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Get a combination plate so you can enjoy the delicious BBQ AND the fried chicken -- so tasty! The sides are all great, but I highly recommend the potato salad.

Being from Eastern, NC, I know BBQ and so do these folks. WOW! The BBQ is the real deal and the sauce is right on. I also found out they make their sides in the kitchen fresh every day. Now where else can you get that.

BBQ is the best in Va., Pig Pickin style with great banana pudding. BBQ Chicken melts off the bone. I eat their4x a week
