I have eaten here several times since moving to the area, and have not had sub par serving yet. Everything is fresh. The shrimp are big and tasty. Very good clams and oysters. Their hot wings are great. My girlfriend had the flounder and I the tuna last night, and both were cooked perfectly. Her flounder was especially good, nice and light, but flavorful. Our waitress was attentive, but not obtrusive. If you are in the area and enjoy sea food, get to Harpoon Larry's, you wont be disappointed.
Pros: Great sea food at market prices
Cons: Ambiance is not upscale, but if you dont mind that...enjoy!!!

I no longer live in Hampton but when I visit, best believe you can catch me at Harpoon Larry's drinking a Rum Runner. I tried Rum Runners up and down the East cost and none of them compare to Harpoon Larry's. The food is great as well and you can catch celeb's eating there as well. Allen Iverson was there the last time I ate there. Go by and try it out.
Pros: Good food, service, drinks, social life.
Cons: spaceing and seating

we have been eating at harpoon larry's for 10 years. i must say it never changes. the service is great! we highly recommmend the crabcake and oysters. everything is great. if you are ever in hampton, va you must check this place out.

Tere are only two places that I eat seafood in hampton roads. Harpoon Larrys is on top of that list.
