I totally agree to what all the other reviews say. I went last night and the place was full but luckely for me I found a place next to a really nice girl!! I ordered the shrimp enchilada and a Dead Guy beer. The enchilada was excellent and the beer was really good as well. The bartender is really nice. In conclusion, the place is really nice, the food is excellent, and there is a long list of beers and other liquors. I would recommend this place to anyone!!

The tapas are superb! Nice wine list, too. You get to watch the chef work in this tiny place. Very cozy; I've taken several dates there, and they really seem to open up.

The other reviews pretty much say it all. I would only bring a friend or two, but if you really want to seat a group of four to six, it's worth the attempt. If you don't succeed, you can always roam a couple blocks to another quality Norfolk bar. It won't be as good as Crackers, but at least you'll have made the effort.

This place has pizazze. Barkeep Steve Scott knows how to keep the patron guessing what's going to come next; a new shooter or a spot of South African wine (Graham Beck's Gamekeeper's Reserve Cabernet) to compliment that Filet Mignon tapa. Look for elbow to elbow conversation with some hip chics or else come with a date for close interaction. This place is small but really cool. Your date, or that hip chic, might also be scored with the Smore's fondue grill. Go see.....

I tried this restaurant about a year ago and fell in love. Their tapas and martinis are amazing. Every plate I tried, I loved! When we went, we also got the smores platter, MMMMMM... This place is small though so you have to get there early.

Crackers is a funky littleand I do mean littletapas and martini bar in the heart of Ghent. The environment is fun and energetic, the food is WONDERFUL, and the martinis are, well you be the judge! If thats not enough to entice you, try the smores served on a pu-pu platteryum...and fun! If you are like me and associate a feeling with a place, you will definitely feel like you are in Ghent at Crackers. The clientele is equally as eclectic as its part of town. The tapas and martinis are created with a flare of the unusualbut oh so tasty! The menu changes seasonally so making a favorites list will repeatedly changeand its a good excuse to go back, often!
Pros: Very Different, Fun, Energetic
