ok, after looking at some of these other reviews i can't help but wonder if they accidently drunkenly wandered into some other bar and blamed bar norfolk by mistake. sometimes a bad night is a bad night ladies and gentlemen regardless of where you go HOWEVER, all is not lost for after deciding to see for myself i am very happy to report that Bar Norfolk is definitely a great place to go on a friday night. the door security was friendly and even joked about with me for awhile before pointing me to the nearest bartender (her names Danielle and all i can say about her is wow....). first thing i did was walk around the club and it was very clean, the trashcans were empty, the buffet was great and neatly presented and the bar was also spotless. as for the drinks. very reasonable not to mention the fact that they definitely don't skimp on the alcohol. the music was loud but not too loud and the dj made sure everyone was having a good time. no fights or drama and the bathrooms * at least as far as the mens room was kept clean and staffed by an attendant all night long. as for the guy/girl ratio, trust me there is something for everyone whether it's just to dance, make new friends or a little flirting. bottom line ppl.... Bar Norfolk is a great place to go and if you don't at least try the place and see for your self then i weep for you.

Pros: good specials, plenty of free food to keep you from getting too drunk.

This place is a joke, dirty place, dirty people, dirty bathrooms. Just Dirty. There is no positive comment that I can make. Sorry.

Bar Norfolk is the best dame night spot they have the best prices and drinks in town.I would recommend everyone try out bar norfolk cause bar ROCKS!

Pros: inexpencive, good service, good entertainment

Cons: , more selction drinks, bigger cups for drink

it was very crowded the first time i went but it was the funnest club ive been too......i enjoyed dancing on the bar! i wish there were more nights for ppl under 21......

GET A REAL DJ!!..BAR NORFOLK NEEDS TO UPDATE THEIR SCENE!! WELCOME TO THE 21ST CENTURY, THE 80'S ARE GONE SO WHY NOT KEEP UP WITH THE NEW TIMES?.. TO START OFF IT IS A PITTY THAT A PLACE WITH SUCH GREAT LOCATION AND SPACE IS SO OUTDATED AND MONOTONOUS... THE DJ COMPLETELY SUCKS, THE MUSIC MIX (WHICH IS NOT MIXED) IS THAT OF A CHEESE RADIO STATION, AND IT VARIES FROM ONE MOMENT TO THE NEXT.. SERVICE IS OK, BUT THE CROWD COULD BE BETTER, NO DRESSCODE MEANS DIRTY PEOPLE DANCING IN SHOWER SHOES AND A RATIO OF 15 GUYS PER GIRL.. BUT WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?.. WHEN YOU HAVE CRAP THE ONLY THING YOU'LL ATRACT IS FLIES... THIS PLACE COULD BE BETTER BUT IT IS SCREAMING FOR MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS..

Bar Norfolk kicks!!! Bartenders are two thumbs way up! Great atmosphere, if you don't mind shaking it all night long!!! On down side DJ needs to update him selection you kind of figure it out what he is going to play!

Pros: Beautiful People, Excellent location, Good prices

Cons: DJ needs improvement

I met my husband to be at Bar Norfolk!!!!!! Last March I was at Bar Norfolk, hanging out with my friends, and two of us started dancing with some weird guys. The other girls were both dancing with the same guy. Well when they went to the bathroom, he asked if he could dance behind me, since I was already dancing with another guy. TO make a long story short, before our year anniversary came up, WE WERE ENGAGED!!!! We are getting married in October!
