When i first moved to Norfolk, Fellini's came highly suggested so i tried it. Fellini's has great pasta dishes & an awesome alfredo sauce. Whenever we are in the mood for Italian, we always go here! The service is average. The seating over in the smoking section is the only booth seating but we sit there anyways because the atmosphere feels cozier since the rest of the dining room is all open.
Pros: food

Hot and hearty Italian fare in a bustling and warm atmosphere. I went on a Sunday night and the place was completely packed and lively. The decor is dark wood and low-lighting with dark wood floors. The food is good and reasonably priced. The Ziti Fellini was very good........the garlic bread was very boring and not flavorful. Their house salad was EXCELLENT.....their homemade Italian dressing is wonderful, and if it were for sale, I would buy it in a bottle. Good place for a casual night out, especially for a group.
Pros: Good food, good prices, warm and comfortable atmosphere
Cons: Not the best location, borders on not so nice area of Norfolk, slow service

I wasn't doing cartwheels out the door, but I was impressed with the food quality since Italian joints can be a little wishy-washy depending on who's cooking. Lasagna was very good....Service was pretty good...I definitely liked the ambience.
Pros: Food was hot and delicious
Cons: Service needs a little tweaking

One of the first restaurants I came to in Norfolk was Fellini's, and I keep going back, alone or with friends. They handle groups easily, serve well, and the food is excellent and not pricy at all. Good bar, a fun crowd, very relaxed. Ask about their history, too!
Pros: Just drop in anytime

This is a great place for dates and work get-togethers. Menu has a good variety of items. With so many options, it's a good idea to get different pizzas and trade slices with a friend.

So far, my husband and I have yet to find a better place for Italian than this Old Faithful. The food is always scrumptious and the service always prompt. You can't beat the "happy hour-Pizza at the Bar" on Fridays. But, get there early (5 or 5:30) or you won't find a stool to sit on. Expect to talk above your comfort level on very busy nights...not the best pick for a "quiet evening out", but a sure bet for great food!

The pizza is outstanding...thin crust and the toppings are creative and excellent. The Greek salad is wonderful. cheeseburgers are great! The desserts are homemade and killer. The bartenders have absolutely NO personality. The service is so-so. The atmosphere is from the 70's, but we go there just about every Sunday night to sit at the bar, suck down some imported dafts, smoke a cigar and enjoy the greek salad & pizza. It is one of those places where you feel at home. We quit drinking the wine because they charge $28 for a $7 bottle of wine. They need to spend some money on a face-lift. We figure they haven't spent a dime since 1978. Overall it is a great place to go, if you want good food and don't care about atmosphere.
Pros: excellent pizza, excellent greek salad, great draft beer
Cons: , mediocre service, Pricey average wine

The pizza was great but hardly worth the poor service. Pasta dishes are average at best.
Pros: Good pizza
Cons: Bad service

One of the best pizzas in Tidewater. the other food is good too. Graet thin crust and real Italian sausage!
