Ordered lunch for office at 10:45 (3 lrg pizza and 3 salads) - not delivered until 12:45 after 2 phone calls and promised delivery in 30-40 minutes. Owner just wanted to argue and could have cared less about our office. Food is good but not worth the abuse by the owner.
Pros: Decent pizza and fresh salad ingredients
Cons: Customer service is aweful, not honest with delivery times

Having moved around a ton due to the military, I have to fly home to get good pizza. So I haven't had a decent slice in 5 years! Primo Pizza has truly the best in Hampton Roads! The garlic knots are to die for, soooo buttery and garlicky. Mmmmmm.....The pizza is great; much like New York pizza....kinda flappy and a little greasy but in a good cheesy-type way...The other food is wonderful too, I hear, but we love the pizza so much, we'll drive all the way from Great Neck area to get it! One bad thing though, is that the restaurant itself is small, so wait time is pretty long. But man, is it worth it if you have the time!
Pros: Big parking lot! Easy to find, cute decor inside
Cons: Tiny restaurant, long wait time

Go here all the time. For just pizza or a great Italian meal. You know as well as I do...you can't find good Italian food around here...or the cost is outragous. Go here...you will fall in love with this place.
Pros: Great food, great price, great people
Cons: Not so great on the parking

Had to drive a ways to find Primo's as the local places in Downtown Norfolk are closed on Sundays. Once we arrived, I had a few fears when I saw it was in a strip mall, but the outside was nicely decorated. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the "restaurant" section (vs. the take out side) - the colors were neutral and soothing and the lighting appropriate. We had to ask if we should seat ourselves (we did) as no one approached us to guide us, but to be fair the restaurant was packed and there were only two waitresses. We had to wait to be attended to, but the waitress apologized for the wait and was attentive for the rest of our visit. Her service was friendly, expeditious and efficient. We ordered a half-dozen garlic "knots" and a pizza well done, and it came back anything but. We sent it back but it was returned still too underdone for my taste, but we took it. They advertise a thin crust, but it's really a hand-tossed depth. They go a bit light on the pepperoni - I had only one piece of pepperoni per slice, but my dining companion had two or three per slice (one side was heavier than the other). The garlic knots were the best I've ever had and the sodas were sparkling and cold. We gave the soda a 10 out of 10, the garlic knots a 10 out of 10 and the pizza a 5 out of 10. My friend took Cannoli's home and said they were good, too. I'm going to keep looking a thinner crust pizza, but I'd go back there again and try some of their other dishes. A solid 8! The bathroom only accomodates one person at a time, but it was clean and well kept.
Pros: Ambience, Service

Primo Pizza by far is the best pizza in town. There is not another pizza that even comes close. The only down fall is that the delivery time is way to long. 1 hour to 2 hours in time. Worth the wait, but still to long for delivery.
Pros: Rate a High 10-Sauce is a 10, Crust is a 10 overall a 10
Cons: They take way to long on Delivery. Some times 2 hours!

the best new york style pizza I ever had outside of new york. The spaghetti and meat balls are excellent and the garlic knotts are wonderful. All of the food at primo's is really great.
