Their service is consistent: GREAT. And most places cannot say that. Their food is delicious and authentic. They are very personable and you can tell it is a family owned customer service based establishment. Try their house dressing! Always free bread and I fast food. I have never had a problem there and I've had food over 20 times...very reasonable prices too

I came upon Reginellas just by accident while shopping in the plaza and since I graduated from high school in Naples, Italy the decor certainly got my attention! This was the first time I found authentic Neopolitan cuisine in the states and since that time we have had multiple alumni reunions at Reginellas. It is often requested by out of state alumni that need to fill up with tasty Italian cuisine while visiting. The owner arranges a set menu to surprise us and we have never been disappointed! We have even had as many as 40 people and he has always been able to accommodate us. The waiters are friendly and the the owner attentive to details. However, the best part about Reginellas is the FOOD! The worse part is that there are so many wonderful things on the menu that it is hard to choose. My compliments to te best Itailan restaurant in town....no need to go anywhere else for good Itaian food! We have never had problems at the register and found the service to be family oriented, eager to serve, and attentive. A good date place with reasonable prices.

Pros: Pizza Margarite and Spaghetti Carbonara

Cons: Not close enough to my house

Deserves a 4 because: waitress was wonderful, food fabulous. I gave it a 3 because of what happened at the register. We went with another couple who had 2 beers, while we had tea & soda. At the register, the kid rang them up first, and us second. Somehow, ours was more..because he put the beers on our tab and then could'nt explain why ours was $20 more. I don't see us going back anytime soon.

Let me start by saying i am Italian and i moved to the States a few years ago. I usually don't write reviews but i really wanted to help those of you out there(like me) who are looking for the real Italian deal(or at least very close to it) Since i've left Italy i've always been on the search for the authentic italian pizza taste and Reginella's Italian restaurant/pizzeria has come really close to it ( although ,I must say ,the best and closest italian pizza flavor i've come across to taste in the Us was in N.Y. City(John's of Bleecker Street) This has been the best pizza i've had in Hampton Roads so far though and i was impressed!!!! You have to try the Neapolitan Margherita pizza !!!!!!!!!I I haven't tried their pasta yet but i will definetely go back and give it a shot.The reason why i haven't rated Reginella's 5 stars is because of their service. I, like many other reviewers, had a really bad service.I am not one of those bitchy and demanding person but i felt that my waiter wasn't really attentive towards me and my friend, he kept on going everywhere else but to our table and we waited about 15 minutes or so just to tell him we wanted to get dessert(let's not talk about the check time!) That's definetely not going to stop me from going there again though so we'll see what happens next time.Overall i really recommend this place.

The food here is outstanding. The waitstaff are great. The prices are very reasonable. But I will never eat here again. Last night I went here with some friends (Party of 5). Everything went well until we got to the register. The owner was working at the register and that is where the check gets split if necessary. 4 of us were there and the 5th person was in the rest room. He took our check balance and divided over 4!! We all had different priced meals, but he charged us each $9.70!! When I confronted him about the price difference, he just looked at me and didn't respond. Okay, I know he is Italian, but I also know he can speak English. He was too lazy to add together the individual costs of our meals. I ended up paying for someone else's meal because I didn't want to stand there and argue over 5 bucks. (He charged 19.40 for 2 meals that were priced at $7 and $8 each) This is the second time that I had a problem at the register at this place. Also, if you plan to use a coupon, familiarize yourself with what is and what is not an entree, because a cheesesteak and fries is not. I used a buy one get one free coupon one time and they wouldn't honor it because of this. Even though the meal I was trying to get comp'd is less expensive than an actual entree!! Good food and good prices are not worth the hassles at the register.

My husband and I lived in Italy for a few years and we feel that Reginella's food is very close to the real deal! It is great and we eat there at least once a week! We love it!

I used to love this restaurant. Loved the calzones. The waiters were usually friendly and helpful. Just one experience changed my mind. Myself and a guest had a terrible experience last time I went there. The owner has never been too friendly and when asked to speak with him about the bad service he was VERY rude, unaccomodating and dismissive. It only takes 1 bad time to spoil it for me, especially when it's the owner! Will not go back again. Hopefully, if you try it, you will have better luck.

This place has the best pizza. I have never had bad service or bad food. I highly reccomend it.

I always have the best service from our favorite waiter named Ryan!! We love going to the Restarant for great Italian food. We lived in Italy and going to Reginella's brings those good memories of eating good back!!

Pros: Inexpensive, Good atmosphere, Family restaurant
