The Scene

The Food
Whether you're there for lunch or dinner, start with the oysters Havana, flecked with cilantro atop sourdough bread. Thinly sliced flank steak tops a salad of romaine lettuce, and the buttermilk dressing adds just the right tang. The paella packs a punch, with its fish, chicken and chorizo sausage nestled in saffron-laced rice. The burrito is smothered in red and green enchilada sauces, bursting with smoked pork, black beans and cheese. Still have room? Try a mojita from the bar--the sweet blend of rum, sugar and mint ends the meal on a perfect note.

Meet your freinds there for dinner, or make new friends at the bar. Great and interesting food selections. Bar service is delightful, and the scenery can be excellent.

Havana Norfolk is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The place has the feel of a trendy lounge with dark lighting, exposed brick walls, wait staff dressed in black, etc. But this place is more than a trend. Reservations are recommended...it can get packed on the weekends. But the food is well worth the wait - the ingredients are fresh and prepared to perfection. Grab a signature mojito at the bar and an order of the fantastic chicken nachos while you're waiting. And try one of the daily specials - always a great choice.
