I called and asked if they had a DVI-D to VGA adapter in stock and was told they did, so I drove 24 miles (round trip) with a friend to pick up this very-hard-to-find-locally computer part. When we got there, we were greeted by "T" and we told her what we were looking for. She confidently walked over to a hook on the wall, removed a small plastic bag with an adapter in it and handed it to me. It was a DVI-I adapter, not a DVI-D adapter. She told us that she had never seen an adapter like we descibed and after explaining the difference between the adapters to her, she got an nVidia graphics card and a DVI video cable and looked at the differences and saw what we were talking about and admitted that they do not have any. Determined not to make it a wasted trip we looked around and found some MS Office 95 CDs for a relatively low price. We asked if we would be able to upgrade to Office 2003 from that CD and were told that they upgraded to it from Office 95 without a problem, so we bought the CD. We then went to another store in search of the adapter and looked at the Office 2003 upgrades while we were there. On the box it clearly said that Office 97 was the oldest version you could upgrade from; so we returned to Cyber Exchange. As "T" was giving me my refund, my friend, who is autistic, noticed a colorful ad behind the counter. It showed the prices for DDR and DDR2 RAM on it. Though it didn't state a brand, it showed reasonable prices for DDR2 667 RAM, which he had been considering upgrading to. After seeing the prices he asked her if there was a noticable difference in performance between the DDR400 and DDR2 667 and she rudely replied that she had no idea, saying that she is just a mother who cares for her children, not a techie that would be concerned with performance and the most she does with her PC is checks email. We left the store hoping that the one thing we did buy there and kept will work, but we won't be going back unless it is to return it.
