The Scene
At breakfast, folks munch egg and bacon bagel sandwiches while reading Yorgo's ample supply of out-of-town papers. It may not be fancy, but the tables are usually occupied in the mornings. A line stretches out the door each afternoon. Don't let lines discourage you, though. They move quickly with the friendly staff whisking around, promptly and accurately delivering orders.
The Food
Everything's made fresh in-house from the bagels and brownies to the egg salad and chopped liver. Loads of flavored cream cheeses schmear 14 kinds of bagels while seasonal flavors like pumpkin bagels show up around Halloween. A whole-wheat bagel topped with hummus and greens accompanied by some tabbouleh makes a healthy lunch. Banana-nut bagels are a sweet treat with chocolate cream cheese. The hot pastrami is piled onto rye bagels, while lox spread is perfect on onion bagels.

Almost like New York! I remember my father taking me to the bakery to pick up bagels, onion rolls, and pumpernickle bread. These bagels really satidfy that nostalgia!

Myself and wife have been going to Yorgo's every morning for ten years. Has a wide assortment of bagels and cream cheese flavorings along with just about anything you want to put on a bagel for a sandwich. Owner and staff are always super nice and take great care of their customers. Always a pleasant experience. Often there is a line but it goes fast - especially since they have just installed a second cash register.
Pros: Great food and nice people.
